Reappraisal is a periodic update required by Tennessee State Law where real property values are updated to reflect fair market value.

Reappraisal eliminates inequities that are created over time by changes in the real estate market ensuring fairness and equity for all property owners.

The Assessor is currently reviewing property values for the 2010 tax year. The deadline to appeal 2009 values expired July 31, 2009.
