In accordance with Tennessee State law, the 2015 Personal Property Schedule must be completed and filed with the Assessor of Property by March 2, 2015 . Failure to file your Schedule will result in the Assessor issuing a Forced Assessment for your business Personal Property. A Forced Assessment is an assessment resulting from the Assessor's estimation of value. Once you have received a Forced Assessment, the only way to set it aside is by completing the Schedule and filing a 2015 appeal with the Shelby County Board of Equalization.

The filing deadline for the 2015 Personal Property Schedule has passed. All Personal Property Schedules received after 3/2/2015 will receive a Forced Assessment. A Forced Assessment is an assessment resulting from the Assessor’s estimation of value. Once you have received a Forced Assessment, the only way to adjust your account is by filing an appeal. For an appeal form, please contact our office at 901-222-7002.
