Online Informal Review Form

Important NotE:

The deadline to file an appeal to the Shelby County Board of Equalization for the 2009 tax year expired on July 31, 2009.  The Assessor's staff is currently reviewing property values for the 2010 tax year.

This online Informal Review form is NOT an appeal to the Board of Equalization.  It is a request for the Assessor to review your appraisal and assessment for the 2010 tax year.  The information you provide on this online Informal Review form will assist our appraisal staff in evaluating your property's fair market value.  You will be notified of the outcome of your Informal Review.  If your Informal Review results in an assessment change, you will receive written notification on April 20, 2010.

If you disagree with the results of your 2010 Informal Review, you may file an appeal to the Shelby County Board of Equalization beginning May 1, 2010.  Please contact the Assessor's Answer Center with questions regarding the Informal Review process.  You may Contact Us by  email or by calling 901-379-7333.

If so, please write your Parcel ID number on each piece of supporting documentation and provide it within two weeks of submitting your Informal Review.

You may also attach files to your Informal Review. You can zip larger files. File size for attachments is limited to 4 megabytes each. Remember, if you are on a slow Internet connection, this process could take some time as you are uploading the files to our server.
